In a race to find an inkwell and pen that can make its authors’ desires reality, it’s Daylen’s desire to keep Kanyon safe that just might come true. But, all desires come at a cost and Daylen’s price might be losing Kanyon forever.

I'm not good at constructive criticism so I'll write what I love about KB's stories first. I love U-Haul Diary and gave it 5 stars, she's funny as hell, it's a great storyline , the characters are well defined and interesting. Now the hard part. I don't know if KB is a masochist and wants to torture her readers by not bringing Kanyon and Daylen together or she has intimacy issues (i.e. U-Haul Diary) and doesn't want to write about these women coming together. Either way I can't take another story with these two flirting their way through another case and not dealing with their obvious love for each other. Who am I kidding? I'll read another installment but if I start skimming again I'll be done with it. One more thing and again, I'm no English teacher or grammar nazi by any means but please lay off the use of "so" in your writings. Example: I'm so not going to take the bait again etc.Product details

Can't wait for the next installment. I love the sense of humor the author puts into all her books especially this series. I am an avid reader and I was hooked from the first page of close up to the last page of fade out. I can sense the hints the author puts into the series that something big is going to take place at the end. Of course, there always has to be character build up which is starting to develop. Kanyon and Daylen picked up right where they left off in Close-Up and the addition of the new characters makes the plot so much more interesting on how they bring out the best/worst in Kanyon and how she either can't or won't admit how she likes them in their own ways and how they help enhance her "powers" but to address the elephant in the room - get them together already! Another GREAT read - NOW on to the next series! KBD you MIGHT be good at this writing thing - FAN for LIFE!!! Congrats and Continued Success!
Loved the 2nd book in this serious. Smart, funny, fast-paced action with a little romance. Too little. C'mon, can you please stop with the long drawn out Rachel-and-Ross-will-they-or-won't-they treatment? Can't wait for book 3!
This entire book is a waste of time. Padding to strtech out the story into a trilogy or longer, ala Peter Jackson Hobbit. At the end the characters who love each other are exactly where they started, in possession of powers they can barely control and kept apart by one refusing to love the other. Save your time and money and maybe if the author isn't trying to stretch the story into 5 books she will resolve SOMETHING in the third book and write about the two main characters loving and growing instead of treading water. Now, in tribute to her writing style, I will pad this review out. Padding the review. Padding the review. Padding the review. Padding the review.
Loved this book and can't wait for the next in this series. I truly love how you not only find yourself intrigued by the main characters, but by all of them. I also love the way K.B puts in her own sense of humor into everything she writes. This book is full of suspense, twists and turns and a real connection between the two women. I must admit, I wanted to scream out more than a few times... Kiss her already... But with that being said I am the reader and not the Author. I have a feeling there is something really worth the wait for us in the near future.. I read alot and this Author has some real talent. Keep those books coming K.B. I will be waiting and anticipating what comes next. I have faith she will not let us down. All I can say is fantastic!
I fell in love with these characters in the first book and their chemistry together only gets better in this one. The storyline is easy to follow and the tension is built to perfection. Good read with fun characters. I had a hard time putting the book down.
Exceptionally entertaining, one I'll remember for a long time. I laughed as much or more than I have reading most books. I loved everything, the characters, the story, the underlying plot unfolding around them, and the writing. It was full of humor and sarcasm and Kanyon and Daylen are such easily likable heroines for me that I couldn't stop reading. Fade-out will easily go to my favorites shelf!
PS. If you enjoy a wicked sense of humor mixed with a bit of reckless detective work than this is definitely your book.
